Takdah Heritage Bungalow No. 8 is a charming retreat nestled in the picturesque hills of Takdah, located approximately 27 kilometers from the renowned hill station of Darjeeling in India. This heritage bungalow is part of a collection of colonial-era residences, known as ‘Kothis’ locally, that dot the landscape of Takdah, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich history and British colonial heritage.
Perched at an elevation of 5100 feet, at the foothills of the Himalayan Forest vegetation in the Runglee Rungliot District of Darjeeling, Takdah Heritage Bungalow No. 8 boasts a serene and idyllic setting. As you go up, you'll find benches where you can take breaks. It's peaceful and quiet, with pine trees everywhere.

is a special place where you can find lots of rare and different kinds of orchids. It's one of the main things that people like to see when they visit Takdah. And it's kept in good shape too.
